Dear Scouts & Parents,


Hope all went well with the skiing trip and you had a great time!!!

First off, the Court of Honor Dinner was a success and Kristin Newman would like to thank the following people for donating their time to make this night so special:

Our chefs: Steve Regosch (Eagle Scout of Troop 147), Alan Block (Committee Member) and Bruce Goldstein (Assistant Scout Master)

Our set up crew: Pam Cohen, Cindy Chapman, Mary Ellen Sabo, Tom & Maura Beerbower, and Roger Newman

Balloons: Marj Brady

All lastly, a big thanks to all who pitched in after dinner to help clean up-especially those of you who helped in the kitchen with the dishes!!!

Also, congrats to all the scouts who received awards for your rank advancements, merit badges, eagle palms, and the 50 Miler Award.

CITIZENSHIP IN THE NATION, EAGLE SCOUT REQUIRED MERIT BADGE: This merit badge is open to scouts who are First Class and above. Mrs. Newman is teaching this badge and the first meeting will be February 25, 2008, (Monday), at the church at 7:30 PM. You must purchase the merit badge book for this badge. E-PREP MERIT BADGE, EAGLE REQUIRED: The first meeting for this merit badge finally has a date and time. It will be on February 28, 2008, (Thursday) at 8 PM at the church. All scouts who are taking this already have signed up and know who you are.

SUMMER CAMP PAYMENTS: Sign ups for Ockanickon are full. There are five spots left at Blue Ridge if you would like to go. Please see Mrs. Sabo for pricing. We are also looking for adults (dads) to go to Ockanickon for the week of camp, which is July 20-26.

RAILROADING MERIT BADGE: Mr. Smith and Mr. McKeon will be teaching this badge. Open to all scouts in the troop. More details to follow.

BLUE RIDGE, NEW RIVER ADVENTURE: We have 15 spots open to scouts to participate at summer camp. Please see Mr. Noonan for further information.
